SIAC2026 is a government-led initiative that marks ASEAN’s first comprehensive, multi-day international conference and exhibition dedicated to Social Impact Assessment (SIA). It brings together policy dialogue, technical expertise, and real-world implementation within a single, integrated platform.
Guided by the theme, “From Policy to Practice: Translating Inclusive Commitments into Action,” SIAC2026 reflects a critical shift toward operationalising inclusive development goals. The conference aims to convene international and regional experts, policymakers, industry leaders, and practitioners to advance social impact assessment practices, particularly within emerging economies.
Serving as a strategic platform for knowledge exchange, capacity building, and cross-sector collaboration, SIAC2026 will facilitate meaningful dialogue and partnerships. The accompanying exhibition will showcase innovative approaches, tools, and case studies that support sustainable development and inclusive growth.
SIAC2026 is expected to attract a diverse range of delegates and stakeholders from across the region and beyond, further reinforcing Sarawak’s position as a hub for thought leadership in sustainable development and responsible resource management.
