Prof. Ts. Dr. Mohd Khairul Amri Bin Kamarudin Dean, Faculty of Applied Social Sciences (FSSG) Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA)

Prof. Ts. Dr. Mohd Khairul Amri Bin Kamarudin is a Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Applied Social Sciences, Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA), Malaysia. He holds a PhD and Master’s degree in Environmental Management, as well as a Bachelor of Social Science in Development Science from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. His areas of specialisation include environmental management, development science, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), hydrology, geomorphology, river modelling, hydrodynamic and sedimentation modelling, water quality, climate change, Planetry Helth, and social impact-related studies. He has published extensively, with 249 journal publications, 11 books, and 35 book chapters, and has led or contributed to numerous research and consultancy projects. His achievements include the Special Award and Gold Medal at the East Coast Summit on Sustainability and Green Innovations Competition 2025, Best Research Group Awards in 2024 and 2025, and several university recognitions for indexed publications, research grants, innovation, and academic excellence.
