Muhammad Haris Abdullah Chief Technical Officer, Malaysian Sustainable Palm Oil (MSPO)

Muhammad Haris Abdullah holds a Master of Business Administration from Northern University of Malaysia and brings over 20 years of professional experience in the palm oil sector, with extensive expertise in sustainability certification, plantation management, and capacity building. He is currently the Chief Technical Officer of the Malaysian Sustainable Palm Oil (MSPO), where he plays a pivotal role in enhancing the credibility and global recognition of the MSPO certification scheme. His career includes experience in oil palm plantation management as well as more than a decade of hands-on involvement in sustainability assurance. Haris is a qualified Lead Auditor and Trainer for MSPO, RSPO, Multiple ISO standard series, and has also completed the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) Lead Auditor Training Course. His auditing portfolio spans Malaysia, Indonesia, and Japan, where he has led and participated in hundreds of sustainability certification audits across plantations, mills, and downstream supply chain operations.
